Headteacher
Victoria Briggs, BA (Hons) QTS, NPQH.
Vicky has been the Head of the school since January 2014. She is a proud mother to two wonderful children who both attend schools within Warrington. She has worked across three different schools across the town, teaching across all age ranges and is currently studying towards the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership. Vicky is the Primary lead for The Challenge Academy Trust, lead of the Disadvantaged Hub and is part of the Strategic Central Executive Team of The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT). Vicky is a governor of a local High School. She regularly supports school improvement in other schools and is currently part of Warrington Borough Council's Associate Advisory Team.

Deputy Headteacher
Lisa Wilding BEd (Hons), NPQSL
Lisa joined Team GSP in September 2016 having taught at another Warrington primary school for 20 years. She has vast experience in teaching children across the primary range and honestly could not imagine doing anything else - she thinks it's the best job in the world! As well as teaching maths and English to groups of children, Lisa also leads on assessment and reading across the school, and together with Vicky, leads on teaching and learning practices across GSP. She was also recently appointed as a Specialist Leader for English. Lisa enjoys working in partnership with our other Challenge Academy Trust schools and sits on various Teaching and Learning Hubs for the Trust. This year, she is looking forward to studying for the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers. When she's not at GSP, she loves to spend time with her family and dogs; she is the very proud mum to 3 girls.

Senior Leader: Early Years, Personal Development & Mental Health
Jayne Wrangles BEd (Hons)
Jayne was lucky enough to secure a post at GSP 21 years ago. She previously taught KS1 for Wigan LEA. Jayne's expertise lies in the Early Years Foundation Stage, she is a Specialist Leader in EYFS and provides School Direct training and Moderation for the LEA. Jayne is the very proud Mum of 2 wonderful daughters. Aswell as teaching in EYFS and KS1, Jayne leads EYFS, PSHE and SMSC across school.

Senior Leader: SENDco, Inclusion and Phase Lead
Debbie Moore BA (Hons) PGCE
Debbie is the longest serving member of our SLT team, having taught at GSP for 22 years. She previously taught at Glazebury Cof E Primary. Since starting at Great Sankey, Debbie has taught every age group apart from Reception and although she enjoyed the different experiences that brought, feels she has really found her home in KS1. Debbie has previously fulfilled the roles of leading: Art, DT and Science in school and has for the last 12 years held the position of SENDco. As well as co-ordinating SEND across the school, Debbie is KS1 lead and a member of the safeguarding team.

Senior Leader: Facilities & Operations Strategic Lead and Phase Lead
Stacie Rowlands BA (Hons) QTS, NPQSL, MaST
Stacie joined GSP in January 2014 having taught in Liverpool, Essex and another Warrington school. She has a wealth of experience teaching children from Reception to Year 6 and can’t choose a favourite year group. Stacie is a Maths Specialist Teacher and has recently completed Managing Health and Safety in Schools training. As well as leading LKS2, Stacie leads on Health and Safety, Educational Visits, Enrichment Activities and Geography across the whole school. Stacie is a proud mum to two young boys and when she’s not in school, spends her time going to football matches, gymnastics, swimming and watching Peppa Pig!

Senior Leader: Aspirations, Community Cohesion and Phase Lead
Tom Gawne BA (Hons) QTS, NPQML
Tom joined Great Sankey Primary in September 2014 after teaching in a range of both primary and secondary schools in Liverpool. He has lots of experience in teaching children from UKS2 and has worked on many Primary to Secondary transition projects; currently sitting on the TCAT transition hub. Tom currently leads UKS2, Pupil Premium, Global Schools and English in school and is looking forward to leading on the primary TCAT Literacy Hub this year. Prior to leading English, Tom was staff governor and led Science across the whole school - helping to establish the OXNET project alongside Oxford and Cambridge University. When he's not in school, Tom is an elected governor at Sir Thomas Boteler CofE High School and enjoys spending time with his family and visiting different places around the world.
